BURLINGTON CULTURAL MAPPING

Burlington Symphony Orchestra (formerly Symphony on the Bay) is a full-size volunteer-based community orchestra serving Burlington, Hamilton, and the surrounding areas. Our musicians — highly skilled amateurs, students and professional players — are led by Music Director and Conductor Denis Mastromonaco.

Our goal is to enrich the lives of community residents by

• providing affordable, entertaining, orchestral concerts that the whole family can enjoy
• offering performance opportunities for area musicians of all ages and walks of life  
• stimulating excellence in instrumental performance through professional mentoring
• encouraging youth with an annual Young Artists' Competition 

We perform in the magnificent Burlington Performing Arts Centre in downtown Burlington. The acoustics are wonderful, and there is no bad seat in the house. Come on out and hear us!
