Burlington Guild of Sculptors and Woodcarvers
Objectives: To bring people together who have a common interest in carving and sculpting in a variety of media. To provide opportunities to share ideas and enthusiasm for the art form. To provide facilities for further development of carving and sculpting skills. To promote appreciation for carving and sculpting in the community
Facilities: Spacious, well-lit studio, kiln room with electric kiln, locker space, basic wood carving and soap stone working tools, bandsaws, belt sander, dust collector, drill press, sharpening station, sculpting stands.
Activities: Members’ Juried Exhibition, showcase, kaleidoscope, Christmas sale, area woodcarving competitons, carving demonstrations for area educational and charitable organizations.
Guild Membership:
- All members must be a Member in good standing of the Art Gallery of Burlington
- Single membership – $50.00 per year
- Seniors (65+) – $40.00 per year
- Optional Locker Fee – $20.00 per year for 1/4 of Cupboard
