Burlington Welsh Ladies Chorus
The Burlington Welsh Ladies Chorus (BWLC) is a welcoming group of women who are passionate about bringing the community together through music and song. We foster creativity, stimulate culture and encourage social cohesion by inviting all women of the community in to learn songs and singing in different languages without songbooks – as is Welsh Tradition – to entertain the public.
While founded with Welsh traditions, we are not strictly a Welsh choir. Our songs are from different cultures in several languages. We sing in three part harmony with a repertoire including popular music, show tunes, spirituals and opera. We practice every Tuesday from 7:30 - 9:30. Social time from 7:00-7:30. Location St Matthew on-the-plains 126 Plains Rd E, Burlington, ON L7T 2C3, Canada.
