BURLINGTON CULTURAL MAPPING

The City of Burlington celebrated the Grand Opening of its newest park, City View Park, on Saturday, June 23, 2012. City View Park, formerly referred to as New City Park, is a new park in the northwest portion of Burlington made up of naturalized park area and former farmer’s fields that will be restored to naturalized areas and converted to recreational uses. When fully completed, this 165-acre park will balance both active and passive park amenities including large naturalized areas, trails, as well as active features that will include artificial turf soccer fields and other sports fields.

City View Park currently includes: two artificial turf soccer fields, a state-of-the-art playground, a naturalized pond area with boardwalks, multiple trails, parking. City View Park will ultimately include: five multi-use sports fields, two baseball diamonds, two open space areas, a pavilion.
