Teresa Seaton Creative
Teresa’s uniquely sculptural fine art stained glass is an artistic trademark featuring multi layers of glass panels with spun wire. Her use of a refined colour pallet creates a mood and atmosphere that is distinctive to Teresa, making her one of Canada’s most notable emerging Fine Art Stained Glass Artists. She continues to expand her art practice with collaborations with fellow artists such as George Wilkinson (Wooden Bowls) John Highley (Mosaic Glass Mandalas), Tomy Bewick and Dan Murray of the Burlington Slam Project and Peter Schlott: hauer (Ironworker)
Graduating from York University with a BFA in drawing & sculpture, Teresa completed her Graphic Design Diploma at Sheridan College leading her to successful career as Senior Designer and Creative Director with clients from Toronto to New York. Her ability to listen and read the clients needs enabled her to succeed in a freelance capacity for 10 years.
Teresa chose stained glass to express her artistic voice in 2001. Working full time as a Fine Art Stained Glass Artist since 2010 she opened the doors of Teresa Seaton Studio & Gallery in 2013. Teresa’s gallery features a large selection of her latest works and now exhibits the work of established and emerging Canadian artists on a rotating, two-month, basis. Teresa feels it is the best interest of the community to give exposure to many of the regions finest artists.
