Amherst Park Community Garden
The Amherst Park community garden offers 33 garden plots for people to grow their own food. It also displays Teresa Seaton's Furled Fronds stained glass installation on the garden fence. Take a walk around the garden to enjoy the beauty of the flowers, fruit, vegtable and herb plants.
Burlington's Strategic Plan 2015 - 2040 supports the development of new community gardens across Burlington which may be built and operated either by the city on park land, or by community groups on private and school lands. The community garden coordinator is available to consult with any Burlington agency, business, school or resident group interested in developing new community gardens throughout the city. For more information please visit the Community Gardens webpage.
